Aashirvad Cinemas has struck gold much ahead of the movie's grand worldwide release. It has entered into a tie-up with Panorama Studios and Pen Studios in a huge endeavour. "Acquiring these worldwide rights to the original Malayalam franchise is a proud and emotional moment," said Kumar Mangat Pathak of Panorama Studios, adding that the acquisition of Drishyam 3 is strategic.
'Complete Actor' Mohanlal has always loved his character, Georgekutty, and he feels elated that the character will now find a bigger segment. "I am excited for the audience to see where his journey leads," the L2: Empuraan star said.
Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios said that, with Drishyam 3, they would continue their mission of taking exceptional Indian stories to the world. He added that their partnership with Panorama Studios "strengthened this vision and ensured the film reached the global platform it truly deserved".
Producer Antony Perumbavoor said that Drishyam 3 would now reach audiences at a scale they had always believed it deserved. The "shared vision" with the acquirers will ensure that the Mohanlal-headlined movie finds a broader set of audience.
Director Jeethu Joseph added that stories like Drishyam did not end; they evolved. He also stated that they had always believed this story deserved a global stage.
