Salman Khan is 31 years older than Rashmika Mandanna, his Sikandar heroine. At the film's Trailer launch event on Sunday, the Bollywood superstar was asked about the wide age gap between him and his heroine. Shockingly, he stated that he would be ready to work with Rashmika's daughter as well in the future.
“If the heroine doesn't have any problem or the heroine's father doesn't have any problem, then why do you have a problem? When she gets married and has a daughter, I will work even with her daughter. Mom will give permission." Salman Khan remarked on the occasion.
Rashmika couldn't control her laugh as Salman made those remarks. The video clip is going viral, prompting a debate around the normalization of onscreen age gaps.
Sikandar will head to theatres on March 30th. Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj and Sharman Joshi have prominent roles. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, it is directed by AR Murugadoss.
