Bandla Ganesh's recent remarks against Vijay Deverakonda's off-screen persona have not gone down well with the actor's fans. A section of them took to social media to defend their favourite star.
In this context, an old video clip involving Vijay and Megastar Chiranjeevi has resurfaced. Speaking at an event, the Waltair Veerayya actor told Vijay to be himself on stage. "That's your personality. If I imitate you, it would look awkward. But your kind of behaviour totally suits you. Always be yourself," Chiru told the Kingdom actor.
Vijay Deverakonda set a tone for his off-screen persona during the promotions for Arjun Reddy in 2017. He retained it until almost the pandemic. Since Liger, there has been a palpable change, with him observing greater self-restraint with each passing movie.
Meanwhile, taking to social media, Bandla Ganesh wrote that he didn't want to offend anybody and that his remarks were misinterpreted. Vijay Deverakonda's fans must be amused!
