Speaking at a meet to celebrate the success of Little Hearts, on Thursday, distributor Bunny Vasu stated that every rupee earned from the film is precious. That's because this is the first movie under his BV Works banner. He recalled Allu Arjun's personal career advice to him. "He asked me to build a strong young team. With this film, I have made a start. I will reunite with director Sai Marthand in the future. Mouli is being cheered on by the audience. He is a young talent with no film background. Vamsi Nandipati took care of promotions meticulously," Bunny Vasu added, thanking ETV Win for its support.
Vamsi Nandipati, the other distributor, predicted an incredible future for Mouli, saying that he is in for the long haul. He suggested that only ETV Win's Sai Krishna and Nitin Chakravarthy could have cemented a project with fresh faces. Vamsi suggested that Little Hearts' strength lies in its treatment and close-up shots.
Sai Krishna, the Business Head of ETV Win, said that many had discouraged them from undertaking a project of this kind. But he and Nitin Chakravarthy abided by their conviction. The success of #90s: A Middle Class Biopic has now been replicated in theatres with Little Hearts. Nitin said that he always knew the film's potential. Nuvve Kavali, which was produced by Ramoji Rao, was a staggering hit despite newcomers headlining it. And, once again, the ETV compound has scored such a hit with Little Hearts, he suggested.
Mouli Tanuj said that, on its very first day at the box office, the rom-com recovered its budget (read Rs 2.5 Cr). He thanked Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, his favourite Nani, producer Bandla Ganeshand and others for endorsing the movie. He further said, "I will continue to entertain you all. My aim is to make profitable movies for my producers and give the audience a bang for their buck."
Jai Krishna, who played Mouli's friend 'Uncle' in the movie, revealed that his audition was initially not successful. However, when he tried another scene, Sai Marthand okayed him.
Actress Shivani Nagaram said that many audience members are watching Little Hearts on repeat. "The movie was made in 35 working days, that too, by a first-time director. Many can't believe this!" she added.
Director Sai Marthand said that it was the confidence reposed in the project by producer Aditya Haasan and the ETV Win team that kept him going whenever he was bogged down by self-doubt during the making phase.
Little Hearts is inching towards the Rs 30 Cr mark (Gross box office collections).
