Kayadu Lohar is upset that a fake social media handle impersonating her has claimed that one of the victims of the recent Karur stampede is a friend of hers. The post, posed to be made by the actress herself, even questioned actor-politician Vijay.
Shocked by the visibility achieved by the post, Kayadu clarified that she has no connection with the post and the statements made there are not hers. "I am deeply saddened by the tragic incident at the Karur rally, and my heartfelt condolences go out to the families who have lost their loved ones. However, I want to make it very clear that I do not have any personal friends in Karur, and the narrative being spread in my name is false. Please do not believe or circulate this misinformation. Once again, my prayers are with the families who are grieving," the Alluri and Dragon actress stated.
She is currently doing Vishwak Sen's Funky, directed by Jathi Ratnalu fame Anudeep KV. In a recent interview, she stated that performing comedy scenes is extremely challenging. Funky is a comedy entertainer which could be an early 2026 release.
