Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja and Rakul Preet Singh starrer ‘Kick-2’ has released worldwide grandly on August 21st and is running successfully. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has produced this action entertainer under Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Arts banner under Surender Reddy’s direction. Rakul Preet Singh has played the female lead role opposite Ravi Teja. On this occasion, we caught up with Rakul Preet Singh for a brief interview. Here are the excerpts.
We would like to hear from you about the audience’s response for the film ‘Kick-2’?
My friends who watched the film said that the film is very impressive. Similarly, the film has received extraordinary response from the audience. Especially, audience are enjoying the comedy track which comes between Ravi Teja and Brahmanandam. There is no separate comedy track. It involves in the story. Different people likes different kind of comedy. The film will impress all sections of audience. I’m thankful to the audience for making the film a big success.
Tell us about the feedback that your character in the film is receiving? 
We usually don’t find importance for heroine characters in many films. I did a very good role in the film which reached very near to my heart. I played Chaitra who appears as city girl in the first half and as a village girl in the second half. It will be very different in looks wise and costumes wise. It is receiving good feedback.
Did to watch the film in Theaters?
I was in UK when the film was released. I watched the film there. I enjoyed the film.
Tell us about your working experience?
It’s really good. Director Suri is the captain of the ship. He did shooting in the outdoor with nearly 200 artists. We enjoyed well in the shooting that took place at Jaisalmer and Hampi. It’s the most memorable journey.
How was it like working with Ravi Teja?
Working with Ravi Teja is a superb experience. He will be very energetic on screen and off screen.
First time you did a big film like ‘Kick-2’, right!
Yes. I perspective of combination and budget, ‘Kick-2’ is the big budget film in my career so far. I was very excited.
You did lip lock scene, right!
I felt very nervous while doing that scene. As per the story requirement, Suri garu has filmed that scene beautifully without any vulgarity.
How was it like working under NTR Arts banner?
I’m very happy to be working under the banner which has big production values. They made the film lavishly. They didn’t compromise in any aspects. Kalyan Ram garu is the main reason for the quality outcome of the film.
Can we expect your film opposite Kalyan Ram?
Yes. I will do definitely.
What are your upcoming projects?
A film in the combination of NTR-Sukumar. Ram Charan-Srinu vaitla’s film. Another film with Bunny-Boyapati. And that’s all.
