'Om Bheem Bush' is best watched with a group: Sree Vishnu

Sree Vishnu says that 'Om Bheem Bush' gives primacy to entertainment. Set to hit the cinemas on March 22, the film brims with hilarity. "This movie is best watched with your friends/family in groups," the actor says. Directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti, the film co-stars Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna and others.

'Om Bheem Bush' boasts of a never-explored-before plot point. Instead of single-mindedly exploring that point, our film adds large doses of entertainment. The characterizations and humour are entertaining to ensure that the audience find the movie enjoyable. Even if the story has an element of mystery and a serious point, the audience will be enthused by the entertainment quotient.

The film has a treasure hunt plot. The three lead men live life king-size. They were freeloaders for 10 years at a University while pursuing PhD. Once they are in a village with a goal, they meet quirky people. They temporarily lose their peace of mind but eventually regain their kingly status (smiles).

'Om Bheem Bush' was not the first title under consideration. An English-language title was pitched. However, I felt that the title should be in Telugu. The change was made for good.

Films of this type are heavily dependent on the artists' performances. Multiple elements like mystery and fantasy are uncertain in terms of whether they will work for the audience. The only aspect you can be sure of is the utility of entertainment.

I don't worry about my market range. Once you focus on that aspect, your quest will never end. It's not in our hands. The market range can go down and go up. All that I focus on is whether my films become profitable. The audience have to be happy with the content. In the case of 'Om Bheem Bush', the producers have already made three to four times the budget. I am glad that a banner like UV Creations is in such a comfortable position. 'OBB' is the most profitable venture for UV Creations in recent times. This is thanks to 'Samajavaragamana' and how well it performed at the box-office.

There are many artists in 'OBB'. Incidentally, some of them became highly sought-after after they were roped in for our movie. One of them participated in Bigg Boss. Another artist bagged a few projects. It became hard to find the dates of the artists.

I am not sure whether 'OBB' is going to have paid premieres like 'Samajavaragamana'. Everyone is busy with the final touches in post-production.

'Swag', directed by Hasith Goli, is going to be wrapped up soon. A week's production is left. There was a time when, in pockets of the world, women rulers were at the helm. Their descendents used to assume the names of their matriarchs. 'Swag' touches upon this aspect in an entertaining way.

I am also doing a film each with Geeth Arts and Kona Venkat garu. I will also be acting in a thriller.
