AR Rahman awaits the release of 'Lal Salaam' on February 9. The film will hit the cinemas in Telugu, Tamil and other languages simultaneously.

The musical genius has revealed that he has used artificial intelligence to bring back the voices of late singers Bamba Bakya and Shahul Hameed for the Rajinikanth-starrer. “The mesmerizing voices of Bamba Bakya & Shahul Hameed in Thimiri Yezhuda from Lal Salaam made possible by AI voice models. This marks the first time in the industry that a late legend’s voice has been brought back to life," a music company wrote on Twitter.

Rahman, known for some of the greatest songs ever, said that he took permission from the families of the late singers before recreating their voices. He sent deserving remuneration for using their voice algorithms. "Technology is not a threat and a nuisance if we use it right," Rahman wrote.
