Sankranthi Vasthunam is slated to hit the cinemas for Sankranthi 2025. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi. The box office result of this film is going to bear a direct consequence for Chiranjeevi's yet-to-be-announced movie to be helmed by the director.
Anil Ravipudi, who comes with a 100% strike rate of success, will be collaborating with Chiranjeevi and producer Sahu Garapati next year. The film is touted to be a full-on entertainer with no social message.
Making a non-message, non-serious entertainer with Chiranjeevi is a gutsy move, considering that the legendary actor had a misfire previously in the form of Bholaa Shankar. The brand of entertainment expected from Chiru is different. Even Waltair Veerayya worked that well because of DSP and the Sankranthi release time.
Anil Ravipudi has mastered the art of making entertainers. Yet, Sankranthiki Vasthunam not clicking with the audience might dampen Chiru's enthusiasm for a Ravipudi a bit. If the Venkatesh-starrer succeeds in the face of Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj, Ravipudi will have ensconced himself as second to none in a certain space. Chiru might prioritize the project before the Srikanth Odela one.
